Terms of Service

1. The platform

Hamro Ramro Kapilvastu connects local customers with local merchants, riders and service providers in Kapilvastu. We provide the technology to place orders, coordinate delivery and process cash-on-delivery payments; we are not the seller of the products or services listed.

2. Customer responsibilities

• Provide accurate delivery addresses and contact details.
• Pay the agreed amount on delivery for cash-on-delivery orders.
• Treat merchants and riders respectfully.
• Do not use the platform for illegal, fraudulent or abusive purposes.

3. Merchant and rider responsibilities

• Merchants must list accurate prices, availability and preparation times.
• Riders must follow traffic laws and deliver orders safely and promptly.
• Both must maintain the quality and safety standards expected by customers.

4. Orders, pricing and payments

Prices are set by merchants and shown before checkout. Delivery fees are calculated based on distance and current pilot configuration. All payments during the pilot are cash-on-delivery unless a digital payment method is explicitly enabled.

5. Cancellations and refunds

Customers may cancel an order before it is accepted by the merchant. Refunds for paid digital transactions are handled case by case through support. Cash-on-delivery orders that are refused at the door may be charged a cancellation fee.

6. Limitation of liability

We do our best to keep the platform reliable, but we are not liable for delays caused by merchants, riders, traffic, weather or other events outside our reasonable control. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific order in question.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. Any dispute will be resolved in the competent courts of Kapilvastu or as otherwise agreed between the parties.
